Lavada "Nell" Cardin, 68, of Englewood, TN went to be with the Lord on April 9, 2026.

Nell dedicated more than 30 years of her life to nursing, caring for each patient she encountered with compassion, kindness, and genuine dedication.

Preceded in death by son, Phillip Cardin Mowery; mother, Mary Evelyn Cardin; father, Ernest Carl Cardin; and sister, Sherri Lynn Cardin.

Survivors include her cousin, Marie Allman; special friends, Kim Rucker and Carol Carey.

There will be no formal services at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Companion Funeral Home of Athens to help cover final expenses.
