Larry Presley, age 58, passed away on April 10, 2026. He was born on January 26, 1968. Larry was known for his kindness, generosity, and the love he had for his family and those around him.
Larry proudly served his country in the Tennessee National Guard and was honorably discharged after 16 years of service with the rank of Sergeant. His commitment to helping others extended beyond his military service, as he supported military and veteran organizations, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and efforts that promoted Native American education.
In his free time, Larry enjoyed dirt track and NASCAR racing, cheering on Tennessee football, spending time outdoors, and listening to Christian and country music, especially Diamond Rio and Eric Church. He was known for his quick wit, love of dad jokes, and the joy he brought to those around him. Above all, Larry loved his family and valued the time he spent with them.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Ronald Presley; his mother, Emma Ruth Presley; and his brother-in-law, Melvin "Big Guy" Harris.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Phyllis Kay Presley; daughters, Cindy Lorene Fain and Veronica Leigh Walkowiak; sons, James Dean McKinley Presley (Stephanie Presley),Ronald Jordon Presley (Latoya Felix), and Malachi Gabriel Presley; sister, Elaina Bunch (Michael Bunch); niece, Amanda Presley (Bradley Presley); nephew, Bradley Presley (Regina); grandchildren, Thomas, Kayleigh, and Ryder Walkowiak, and Addeline and Mikaylin Presley; along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
A celebration of Larry's life will be held on April 16th, 2026, at New Salem Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN beginning at 7:00pm.
Larry will be remembered for his caring nature, sense of humor, and the love he shared with his family and friends.
