L. A. Helms, 85, a resident of Athens, TN passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2020 in a Sweetwater Hospital. He was born on July 20, 1934 in Putman County Tennessee a son of the late Arlie & Alta Helms.
He is survived by his daughter Deborah and numerous other extended family members and a host of friends.
The family held a private graveside service on Monday, May 18, 2020 in Sullins Cemetery in Athens, TN.
Companion Funeral Home of Athens is honored to assist his family with these arrangements.
