Kenyamo La’Umba Wofford was born on July 18, 1971 in Detroit Michigan to William and Maggie Wofford. He was the second of seven children. He was educated in the Detroit public school system. He later went on to work assembly at Volkswagen plant in Tennessee. He loved his mother, children and grandchildren like no other. Although he didn’t like pictures he loved them when it came to them. His relationship with the mothers of his children extended through his life until his transition. He was known for his love of fixing cars and home improvement. He loved his family and his “oh yeah” and laugh still resonates. He was the one that would call a million times until you answered or called him back; just for him to say “what you doin”. He always said Love you before hanging up. On February 2, 2026 “Uma” as he was known was called to rest to join his heavenly family. Preceded by father William, step-father Burnside, brother Kenyon, Mario, nephew Jovante, grandparents Benton and Gyona, Elizabeth, Willie, uncles: Curt, James, Craig, Donald, Charlie, aunts: Mary, Joyce-and on the exact same day Aunt Geri).
“Uma” leaves to cherish his memories: His mother Maggie Wofford. Ex-Wife Krystl Webb-Wofford and their children Keyanna Wofford and Joseph Fox. Katorcia and their children Robert, Ka’Marie, Kenyamo (Mr). and Kalee Bowman and their grandchildren (Kassidy, Khason, Kaleigh, Karter, Robert Jr., King,)
Tamika and their children Kenya Parker and son Anthony Taylor- granddaughter Ka’Lonna).
