Kent Lafayette Parkerson

Kent LaFayette Parkerson passed away at the age of 56. He was born June 26,1966 in Chattanooga,Tennessee, and was a resident of Apison , Tennessee, his home town; the son of William LaFayette Parkerson , of Apison Tennessee and mother, Joyce Kesley Miller ( husband Wayne) of Spencer, Tennessee. He was the middle child of three siblings , eldest sister, Anita Parkerson Reed of Rossville, Georgia and youngest sister, Eva Parkerson Allen ( and husband Clifford)of Graysville, Tennessee.

He leaves behind his son, Jacob Parkerson ; partner, Jade Rutledge; grandchildren, Jhelaini and Jace). life partner, Megan Graben, her children, whom Kent adored, Madi Kirkpatrick, Sophi Kirkpatrick, preceded in death by Dakota Kirkpatrick) .

Proceeded in death, by his eldest son , Brad Parkerson.

No formal funeral services will be planned, instead , there will be a Memorial Service held Thursday , May 4, 2023 , 2pm at First Church Fort Oglethorpe, 1556 Cloud Springs Road Rossville, Ga 30741 , everyone is welcome.

Kent will be deeply missed by all.
