Kenneth Wade Akins

Obituary
Kenneth Wade Akins, 49, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away on Monday in a local hospital. Kenneth was born in Chicago, IL on March 23rd, 1964 a son of the J. L. Akins. He was of the Baptist faith and had made Cleveland his home for the past forty two plus years. Kenneth has work locally both at Dana Corporation and also Peytons Corporation. Kenneth loved music, enjoyed playing the guitar and had a huge heart that he enjoyed sharing with anyone around him.
In addition to his father Kenneth is preceded in death by one daughter Lindsey Dawn Akins, grandparent J.R. & Ree Akins, Charles Wade Moss & Irene Moss Ogle.
Kenneth leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of thirteen years Deborah N. Carter Akins, his mother Charlotte Ann Moss Akins, three daughters Drew Akins, Kala Akins and Autumn Akins, one step daughter Brandy Payne, one step son Scott Carter (Amanda), one granddaughter Haley, four grandsons Aiden, Roman, Brandon and Jackson, one brother Ronald Akins, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday night, May 22nd, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the parlor of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service located at 2415 Georgetown Road in Cleveland, TN.
A graveside service will take place to celebrate his life on Thursday, May 23rd at 12:00 noon at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens with the Reverend Rickey Vaughn officiating. Pallbearers will be David Lyles, Patrick McCurry, Byron Minor, Brandon Trenham, Scott Carter & Phillip Nunley.
