KENNETH 'ROGER' PRINCE, 76, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Roger attended Madisonville High School and graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972. His career as a General Health Environmentalist for the State of Tennessee lasted for 30+ years, retiring in 2008. He very much enjoyed playing golf, attending UT sports events, and fishing on the Tellico River with friends and family. He was raised in the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church in Madisonville, TN.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl (Wiley) Prince; his siblings: June (Glenn) Cook, Madisonville, TN; Jo (Murray) Murphey, Memphis, TN; Doris (Jim) Looney, New Boxton, TX; Jewel (Herbert) Cook, Madisonville, TN; Paul (Sharroan) Prince, Madisonville, TN and infant sister, Betty Ruth. He is survived by his sister, Judy Johnson, Sweetwater, TN.

A private graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Any memorial donations, honoring Kenneth Roger Prince, are appreciated and should be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or End of Life Philanthropic Fund at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN.
