Kenneth Farris King, 85, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at home January 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 21, 1940, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late Roy Lee King and Josephine Ruth King.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his brothers, Darryl King of Vallejo, California, and Jerry King of Cleveland; his sister, Andrea "Sweetie" Dickerson of Cleveland; and his great-grandson, Brodie King of Cleveland.

Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Patsy King of Cleveland; son, David (Tana) King of Cleveland; granddaughter, Shauna (Clayton) King-Strain of Cleveland; grandson, Christopher (Kelli Ray) King of Cleveland; great-grandsons, Brayden and Caleb King of Cleveland; brothers, Alan (Linda) King of Cleveland, Larry (Beverly) King of Cleveland, and Randy King of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Carolyn King of Vallejo, California; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Kenneth honorably served his country in the Tennessee Army National Guard for 24 years, retiring as a Platoon Sergeant at the rank of Sergeant First Class. He retired from American Uniform Company after 34 years of dedicated service and was a founding member of Cleveland Cornerstone Church.

Throughout his life, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, working with electronics, tending his garden, and tinkering with projects around the house. He was an avid sports fan who especially loved Tennessee Vols football and NASCAR. Above all, he cherished spending time with his family and friends.

No services will be held in accordance with Kenneth's wishes.
