Kendall Vann Maroon Jr.

Kendall Vann Maroon Jr., 56, of Cleveland, TN, passed away on September 8, 2026, in a moment that leaves a significant void in the lives of all who knew him. Born on September 5, 1970, in Athens, TN, Kendall was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Kendall was a skilled and talented machinist, making his mark as a Project Manager at Quality Machining Services. His passion for automated machinery reflected not just in his work but also in his hobbies. He loved classic Ford truck shows, where his pride and joy with his 1976 Ford F100 earned him several awards, showcasing his dedication to all things automotive and creating a large support with those truck families.

Kendall was a family man. He cherished his beloved spouse, Kathryn Maroon, and their wonderful children: Tyler (Amber), Tucker (Kaitlyn), Vanessa and Kelsey from a previous marriage. He was so proud to see their oldest son graduate high school and experienced the thrill of his wife giving him a mohawk, colored blue for their son's All-Stars Baseball Championship. From watching their daughter sing at Disney World to sharing joyful experiences with his grandchildren, Paige, Samuel, Hazel, Lynlee, Malcolm, Karter, and Sofia, he was a beacon of love and laughter for the entire family.

Kendall had a knack for inspiring unforgettable memories, like that time he ran out of gas on their boat while Kathryn was pregnant or got caught in the rain during their motorcycle ride. Those moments, colorful and full of life, illustrated his fun-loving spirit and zest for adventure that are too numerous to include. He also enjoyed taking family cruises, making memories that his family will cherish forever.

Kendall was preceded in death by: Ernest Maroon, Doris Maroon, Junior Duckett, Rosie Duckett

Kendall is survived by his father, Kendall Maroon Sr.; his mother, Frances Maroon; his brother, Shane Maroon; and a large family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who knew him as a caring and light-hearted soul.

In celebration of Kendall's life, a visitation will be held on September 25, 2026, from 4:00- 8:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 8:00 PM at the Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service.

As we say goodbye to Kendall, his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him, reminding us to cherish our loved ones and enjoy every moment.
