Kelsey Nicole "Kk" Burnette

Kelsey Nicole “KK” Burnette, 18, a lifelong resident of McMinn County passed away on July 4, 2017. She was born on April 3, 1999 in Chattanooga, TN a daughter of Mr. & Mrs. David Burnette. A graduate of McMinn Central High School, “KK” loved going to the mountains, swimming and spending time with family.

She is survived by her parents David and Virginia Diane Burnette, her twin brother Dillon Burnette, another brother David Burnette, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.

A memorial service celebrating her life is planned for Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S. White Street in Athens, TN with the Reverend Wayne Lee officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM service time at the funeral home.
