Kay Lynn Diffenderfer

Kay Lynn Diffenderfer, age 76, of Bradley County, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026.

Kay was a member of First Lutheran Church in Cleveland, TN. Kay found joy in the simple things in life. She enjoyed flower arranging and painting, sharing her creativity and love of God through the things she created. She cherished spending time with her family on the Maryland shores where she was raised. She will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Worden; her parents, Ralph Diffenderfer and Velma Shuey; brothers, Doug Diffenderfer and Gary Diffenderfer; and sisters, Joy Lochery and Deanna Diffenderfer; her beloved mother-in-law Lottie King.

Kay leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughters, Cindy King Wasem and Kathy King; brothers, Ronnie Diffenderfer and Wayne (Ginny) Diffenderfer; sisters, Patty Byrets and Mary Diffenderfer; along with many family members and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

The family will receive friends during visitation on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in the Shelton Parlor of Companion Funeral and Cremation Service, located at 2412 Georgetown Rd. NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
