Kathy Ann Young

Kathy Ann Young, 66, of Cleveland, TN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 13, 2025. She was born on November 2, 1958 to the late Sam and Beulah Ensley. Kathy was retired from Signature Healthcare after 25 years of dedicated service.

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Ruth Price, Betty Prince, Lois Nicholson, Marie Hice, Jesse Pinion, and Cleo Nobles; her brother, Stephen Dilbeck; and her "special" brother, Donny Byers.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 43 years, Danny Young; daughter, Keshia Young; her son, Sam (Amy) Blankenship; her "adopted" son, Larry Morgan; grandchildren, Emily (Blake) Walker, Sarah Stevens, Logan Young, Gracie Blankenship, and Abby Blankenship; along with several "adopted" children and grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 7:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Sam Blankenship officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 11:00 am at Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery with Larry Morgan, Blake Walker, Logan Young, Mike Stevens, Jakie Starnes, and Jeremiah Wade serving as pallbearers.
