Kathy Corby

Kathy Corby, age 62, passed away peacefully on July 22, 2025, in Chattanooga, TN.

A woman of strong Christian faith, Kathy found great joy and fellowship worshiping with her beloved church family at Orchard Pointe. Her spirit was kind, compassionate, and full of warmth that touched everyone who knew her.

Kathy had a deep love for reading and writing and found comfort in the familiar tunes of 90's country music. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought light and laughter to her life.

She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Rose Walters and Joseph O'Dell, and her sister, Debora Ives.

Kathy is survived by her devoted husband, Carroll Corby Sr.; her children, Carroll Corby Jr., Andrew Corby, Daniel Corby, and Kirsten Pascual; and her siblings, Christina Hardin, Christopher O'Dell, Joseph O'Dell, and Lisa Ellis. She leaves behind her adored grandchildren: Jaxen Pedro-Pascual, Paxton Pedro-Pascual, Luna Pascual, Mila Severiano, Keegan Shropshire, Caiden Shropshire, Maleah Pascual, Jaevin Pascual, and Shaylea Browning.

She is also survived by her son-in-law Juan Pedro-Pascual; sisters-in-law Jodi O'Dell and Cindy O'Dell; and brothers-in-law Johnny Hardin and Glenn Ellis.

Kathy's legacy of faith, family, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will be treasured, her presence deeply missed.
