Katherine Beatrice Wright Tallent

Beatrice passed away, September 2nd, 2026, she was born February 24, 1938 in McMinn County Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her Sweetheart and husband of forty-nine years William Everett Tallent.

She is survived by her son, James Everett Tallent, grandson James Everett Tallent Jr. and Wife Cara, Daughter Tina Diane Tallent Hughes, Granddaughter Kayla Brooke Hughes Peppers and Husband Nick, along with several nieces and nephews.

She was an active member of the Copperhill, Tn Community, participating in and often chairing fund raising activities for March of Dimes, and The American Cancer Society, among others. Always active in school events, and other volunteer organizations, she was a long time member of The Order of the Eastern Star, and in her later years the Daughter's of the American Revolution. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of McCaysville/Copperhill, and served on the board of the Copper Basin Hospital, and the Copper Basin Foundation Board.

There are no services planned at this time.

"Bea" as she was well known was an accomplished, and valued member of her community and leaves behind a legacy of service and devotion and will be sorely missed.
