Katherine Ann McGaha, age 65 of Oak Ridge, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday November 26, 2025 in her home. She was born in Harriman Tennessee on January 16, 1960. She was the daughter of the late Dortha Mcintosh and William Curtis Blank. After her education, she worked many years in the automotive manufacturing field with various companies.
Katherine lived with a fighting spirit that reflected in everything she did. She loved animals, butterflies and adored her sweet dog Daisy, her loyal companion; and she cherished her grandbabies with a love as deep as the ocean. She loved shopping for them, always wanting to spoil them with thoughtful surprises that showed just how big her heart was. Katherine also enjoyed indulging in her favorite treats-especially Lindor chocolates and cheesecake-watching true crime shows, Wheel of Fortune, home shopping channels, and spending precious time with her loved ones. These simple joys filled her days with comfort and laughter.
Her family was her greatest blessing, and she poured her heart into her children and grandchildren. Music uplifted her soul and carried her through life's joys and storms, becoming a treasured part of her journey.
She is survived by her children: Katrena (Stanley) Rambo of Powell, Tennessee; Joshua (Tiffany) McBee of Oliver Springs, Tennessee; and Kristen McGaha of Harriman, Tennessee.
She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Dakota and Sydnee Rambo; Addison, Aaliyah, and Autumn McBee; and Kayleina Wells.
Katherine is also survived by her loving boyfriend of many years, Doug Ragsdale, who remained a faithful and devoted presence in her life.
A special thanks to UT Hospice Services for the wonderful care they provided Katherine over the past five months.
A celebration of her life will be held in the spring at a later date, when family and friends can gather to honor her memory and the love she shared with all.
