Katherine Josephine Hitson

Katherine Josephine Hitson, age 68, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2026.

Katherine was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother who cherished her family and the time she shared with those she loved. She will be remembered for the love she gave so freely and for the special memories she created with her family and friends. She had a simple love for the little things in life, including enjoying her favorite Wendy's Vanilla Frosty.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Billie Blackburn; her sister, Dianne; and her dear friend and sister-in-law, Debbie.

Katherine leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband of 31 years, Danny Hitson; her sons, Jason and Danny; her brother, Jimmy Blackburn; her grandchildren, Tyler, Jakob, Kylee, Cole, and Knox; along with several other family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Katherine's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
