Karen Denise Sutton

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karen Denise Sutton, who departed this life July 16, 2026, at the age of 62.

Born February 1, 1964, Karen was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend. Known for her fierce love for her family, she touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Karen dedicated her life to her cooking and taking care of her family. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and love will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Karen is survived by her devoted spouse, Jerry Sutton of Dalton, GA. She is also survived by her loving children; Anthony Shuler, Cassandra Sutton, Bianca Eisenberg, Alana Eisenberg, and Jerri Sutton. She leaves behind her dear siblings; Eric Lingo, Gary Davis, Tammy Dale, and Dorotha Anderson. Also extended family including fifteen grandchildren, many beloved nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Karen was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Pauline Barker-Davis; father, James W. Davis Sr.; grandmother, Mattie Burger-Barker; grandfather, Herbert (Hub) Barker; brothers, James W. Davis Jr. and Skip Davis; sister-in-law, Brenda Davis-Hebert, wife of Skip.

A Private Family Gathering will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Companion Funeral Home. This will be 2:00-3:30.
