Kara Mia Shirley

Kara Mia Shirley, was born on February 2, 2011, and unexpectedly passed away on November 22, 2025. Kara brought joy, light, and laughter into the world from the moment she arrived. Though her time here was far too short, she filled every day with kindness, curiosity, and a love that touched everyone around her.

Kara was known for her bright sense of humor and her sweet, gentle spirit. She had a gift for making people smile, whether through a joke, a thoughtful gesture, or simply the warmth of her presence. She loved deeply and wholeheartedly-family, friends, and even strangers felt welcomed by her open-hearted nature.

Her love for animals and insects was a defining part of who she was. Kara found beauty in every creature, big or small, and cared for them with a tenderness that showed her innate compassion. Whether she was rescuing a bug or bonding with a family pet, she saw the world with wonder and treated it with gentleness.

Kara is survived by her mother, Ginger Shirley, her father, James Shirley; Her sister, Jayda Shirley, and her brother, Colton Shirley; Her grandmother, Annette Vaughn, along with many aunts/uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

Kara will be forever remembered as a loving sister, a cherished daughter, and a loyal friend. She leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, kindness, and love-memories that will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew her.

Though her life was brief, Kara's impact is lasting. Her spirit lives on in the love she shared, the joy she spread, and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
