Judy Elaine Fields, 77, a resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 8, 2026, in an Etowah Healthcare facility. Judy was born on June 2, 1949, in Cabin Creek, WV a daughter of the late Eldridge and Beulah (Wells) Alderman. She loved watching mysteries, going to church, studying Genealogy, planting flowers, sewing and cross stitch and traveling and taking pictures when she could. Above all, Judy loved spending time with her beloved family.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Robert Fields, grandparents Eddie & Lillian "Fannie" Wells and Carl & Alma Alderman, one brother Henry Alderman and several beloved aunts and uncles.
Judy leaves behind to cherish her memory two daughters Angie Dodge and her husband Ron and Deanna Hewitt and her husband David, eight granddaughters Bethany Richardson (Caleb), Leslie Lyssens (Mike), Sabrina Dodge, Jordyn Dodge, Madison Dodge, Veronica Dodge, Kaitlyn Hewitt and Kristyn Hewitt, two wonderful great grandchildren Gracelyn Richardson and Amadeus Lyssens, one sister Sue Vest and her husband Steve, numerous other beloved extended family members, church family and host of special friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM in the vestibule of First United Methodist Church located at 3425 North Ocoee Street NW in Cleveland TN. A service celebrating her life will follow that time at 3:00 PM in the church sanctuary with the Reverend Jerry Jones officiating.
The interment and committal service will follow in the Fort Hill Cemetery in the Veterans section where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Robert. The United Methodist Men will serve as pallbearers.
