Judy Faye Bruce, age 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on July 31, 1948, in Cleveland, Tennessee, to the late Mitchell Swafford and Georgia Dixon Coffman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Don Swafford.
Judy was a devoted wife of more than 59 years to her beloved husband, Euclid Timothy Bruce. Their marriage was a beautiful example of love, faith, and commitment, and together they built a life centered around family and caring for others.
She dedicated her life to serving both her family and her community. Judy worked as a Registered Nurse for 26 years, where she showed great compassion, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her patients. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her profession, as she always put the needs of others before her own.
Above all, Judy was a loving and devoted mother, a cherished grandmother, and a proud great-grandmother. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave them endless love, support, and guidance. Her presence brought comfort, strength, and joy to those who knew her.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving husband, Euclid Timothy Bruce; her three sons, Bryan Bruce, Keith Bruce (Amanda) , and Michael Bruce (Kristin); her grandchildren, Kiersten Stephens, Madeline Bruce, Chandler Bruce, Sophie Bruce, Emily Bruce, and Violet Bruce; and her great-grandchildren, Everleigh Bruce and Elias Stephens.
Judy's legacy of love, compassion, and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
