Judy Faye Wilson

Judith Faye Wilson, 77, passed away on July 11th, 2025. She was born on July 20th, 1947 in Cleveland, TN to the late Allen and Effie Mowery.

Judy was the beating heart of her family a devoted wife, mother, bonus mom, grammy, sister, aunt and friend who radiated kindness and warmth in every corner of her life. She loved her family more than anything in this world and showed that love through every home-cooked meal, every comforting word, and every moment quiet sacrifice. Her selflessness knew no boundaries.

Her hands were never idle. A hard worker through and through, Judy took pride in providing for family, ensuring they were safe, loved, and never without ironed pants or a spotless home. She found joy in the simple things.

She was gentle in voice, generous in spirit, and kind beyond measure. Her grace touched everyone she met, and her legacy lives on in the lessons she taught without words: work hard, love fierce and always leave everything better than you found it.

Her final moments were a reflection of the life she lived -peace in her eyes and with a smile on her face surrounded by her loved ones. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Effie Mowery, siblings, Claud Mowery and Brenda Presswood, husband, Bill Wilson, and her bonus son, Mark Wilson.

She is survived by her children, Kim and Traci Cooley, grandchildren, Dylan Cooley, Cameron (Sierra) Davis, Nikki (David) Ronca, and BJ Wilson, bonus son, Chris (Pam) Wilson, sister, Audrey Barber, and several nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 6:30 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Steve Gilbert and Jason Gilbert officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Hilcrest Memorial gardens at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that acts of kindness be performed in her honor -hold the doo r, lend a hand, or simply smile at a stranger. That's what she would've done.
