Juanita Mantooth Prichard

Juanita Mantooth Prichard, 88, of Cleveland, TN, passed away June 27, 2021. Born November 3, 1932, in Old Fort, TN to the late Chester and Mary Mantooth. She was a member of East Side Church of Christ and retired from Bradley County EMS. Juanita also volunteered for Bradley Memorial Hospital for 30 years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother.

Preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Mary Mantooth; husband Junior Prichard; brothers, Wallace Mantooth, Donald Mantooth, Hershel Mantooth, and Knoble Mantooth; sisters Pauline Cherry, Nina Lillard, Bennie Lee Bryan, and Faye Harmon.

Survived by her daughters, Beth (William) Davis and Melody (Keith) Lewis; Elsie Moore, of Waco, KY and Birdie Carson, of Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Josh (Megan) Prichard, Ashton Williams, and Baylen (Josh) Gamble; great-grandchildren, Jonas Prichard, Emery Prichard, Evie Gamble, Houston Gamble, and Eli Gamble.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM at Companion Funeral Home with the service to follow in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held at Chattanooga National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga or Alzheimer’s Association.
