Juanita Kinser, 92, a lifelong resident of Englewood, TN passed away on Friday evening, August 9, 2019 at her home. She was born in Monroe County on June 7, 1927 a daughter of the late Arthur & Flora White. Juanita attended First Church of God in Englewood where she enjoyed cooking fresh vegetables from her own garden with the ladies’ group. She often bragged that everyone would say “get Mrs. Kinser’s it’s homegrown from her garden”. Juanita loved gardening and sharing her vegetables with all her family, friends, and neighbors. She also enjoyed cooking, canning and sewing. Juanita retired from Eureka Sewing Mill in Englewood, but continued to sew quilts, pot holders and many other things for her family for years later.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Kinser on October 20, 1997. She is also preceded in death by several siblings.
Juanita leaves behind to cherish her memory her children daughter and son in law Dot and David Baxley of Talbott, TN, son and daughter in law Steve and Dianne Kinser of Englewood, TN, grandchildren Chris Baxley of Talbott, TN, granddaughter Candi and her husband Jason Huckabey of Etowah, TN, grandson Matt Baxley and Chelsea of Talbott, TN, great grandchildren, Kinslee Huckabey and Jacob Huckabey of Etowah, TN and Jayce Baxley of Talbott, TN, and many special extended family members and friends.
In honor of her wishes, a graveside service is planned for Monday, August 12, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the McMinn Memory Gardens with Pastor Joe Clark officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Huckabey, Jacob Huckabey, Chris Baxley and Matt Baxley.
The family would like to express a special thanks to her wonderful and caring nurses Felisha and Amber and the entire staff of Hospice of Chattanooga for the wonderful care they provided Juanita.
