Joyce Diane Pfohl

Joyce Diane Pfohl, beloved wife and friend, peacefully passed away on August 1, 2026 at the age of 74. Born on July 28, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee, she spent her life dedicated to family, friends and her church. Diane enjoyed a fulfilling career with FedEx corporate office in Memphis. She retired in 2003 as Executive Assistant to the CFO. Diane found joy in serving and connecting with her church family at Westwood Baptist Church in Cleveland and previously at Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis.

Welcoming her to eternal rest are her parents, JC Fouts and Esther Lyerly Fouts. Surviving family members including her spouse, John Kenneth Pfohl, III; her sister, Linda Moore and husband Walter; step-daughter and grandson Meredith and Conner Austin; and nephews Tim Moore (Kelly) and Steve Moore. She loved being "DD" to great-nephews Steven and Caleb Moore and great-niece Abbigail Moore. She will be dearly missed by cousins Mark (Christie) Fouts, Michael (Theresa) Fouts, and Todd (Pam) Fouts, the rest of her extended family and the countless friends whose lives she touched.

Diane was a member of the FedEx Retirees Club, Arlington TN Historical Society, and Daughters of the American Revolution, among other groups. She had a special gift for sewing crafts, including needlepoint and quilting, and was a member of the Quilt Guild of Cleveland.

Her warmth and kindness enriched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love that will be cherished by all who knew her.

A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Westwood Baptist Church, Cleveland, Tennessee. Paster Bill Henard will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 3:00pm prior to service at 3:00pm.
