Joshua Brock Steward

Joshua "Brock" Steward, 45, passed away suddenly on September 26, 2026, as a result of a work-related accident. He was a hardworking man who never shied away from a challenge. He spent many years in construction, where his strength, determination and willingness to work hard were a testament to the man he was. He was also fun-loving, full of life and always ready with a story. He was a member of Waterville Baptist Church.

Brock was a tough guy with a tender heart. When he cared about someone, he cared with his whole heart. His love was deep, loyal, and unwavering, and those fortunate enough to know him will carry that love with them always.

His greatest blessing was his son, Brady. He was extremely proud of the young man he has become and all he has yet to accomplish.

Brock will be remembered for his hard-working hands, his strong heart, his loyalty and the tremendous love he had for his family and friends. Though his time here was far too short, the mark he left on the people who loved him will last forever.

He was preceded in death by his father, Karl Steward, his grandparents George and Delores Howard and Jay and Wanda Steward and uncle, Kevin Steward.

He leaves behind his beloved son, Brady Steward, his mother, Robbie Steward, his brother and sister-in-law, Brent and Lauren Steward, his uncles, Steve (Kathy) Howard and Kenneth Steward, his nieces, McKaylee and Karleigh Steward, his girlfriend, Amanda Troyer, and her son Dylan. Also, Paris a little white fur baby who stole his heart.

The family will receive guests Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at Companion Funeral Home Ridge Sanctuary between 5:00-7:00. A Graveside Service will be Thursday, October 1, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Gardens beginning at 11:00.

Rest easy, Brock. Your work here is done. We will miss you deeply and remember you always.
