Joseph W. Walden

Joseph Wayne Walden, 76, of LaFayette, GA, passed away August 4, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born November 13, 1946, in Bessemer, AL, to the late Joseph B. Walden & Bessie Walden. Wayne loved his family and kept everyone laughing. He enjoyed fishing, fly tying, outdoors, and camping.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers Donnie, Warren, Dale, Melvin & Kelvin Walden.

Survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Martha Walden; son, Ricky Tyner; daughter, Jennifer Bulick; siblings, Wanda Webster, Clay Walden, and Jamie Mather; grandchildren, Dillion Bulick, Buck Tyner, and Scott Tyner; and a host of friends and family.

A graveside service will be held at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, Gate Time of 10:30 AM.
