Joseph Dover

Joseph's courageous journey came to a peaceful close Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Vanderbilt Hospital, where he received compassionate palliative care. Born September 18, 1985 in Cleveland, TN. Joseph is survived by his parents Neal (Barbara) Dover and Susan Dover, who cherished him with every fiber of their being.

He was proceeded in death by his very special and much loved grandmother Lessie Dover, grandfathers Dillard Dover, Harlin Hamill, grandmother Velda Browne.

His legacy lives on through his loving family, his siblings, Amy Markham, Victor Headrick, Neal Dover Jr. (Whitney), Alisha Ingram (Jordan), and Kallie Dover Latham, will continue to celebrate his life. He also leaves behind a cherished niece, Victoria Ellison, a beloved nephew, Ethan Headrick, and a very special cousin, Buster Visage. Joseph's memory will be treasured by his many friends, whom he loved like family, particularly his closest companions, Sean and Lauren Fleming, and their little Liam, Wes Summers, and Lydia Brannen.

Though Travis McCoin may have gone on before him he was loved dearly by Joseph. Joseph's spirit will undoubtedly continue to inspire those who loved him. His beloved cats, Lumen, Dexter, Echo, Booger, and Khaleesi, will remain in the care of those who loved him, a testament to the enduring power of love and compassion.

A celebration of life will happen at a later date.
