Joseph Arthur Russell

Joseph A Russell, 78, of Cleveland passed away at his residence Monday, June 3, 2019. He was born in Copperhill and was a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University earning a degree in Education. He had been a manager of Captain D’s in Cleveland for over 30 years. Joseph was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and a member of the Asbury Sunday School Class.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bessie Russell; brothers Charles, J.B., and Jim Russell; sisters, Linda Breedlove, Marge Elrod and Betty Meers.
Survivors include his loving wife of over 30 years, Dorothy Russell of Cleveland; a brother, Jackie Russell; and a step-son, Tim Goss of North Carolina.
A memorial service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church at a later date.
