Jorge Luis Diaz entered into eternal rest on June 10, 2025. A gentle and faithful soul, Jorge lived a life marked by grace, resilience, and unwavering love for the Lord. Though he faced both physical and mental challenges, his deep faith and joyful spirit touched all who knew him.

Although born in Cuba, Jorge was raised in Florida, where he attended the Saint Augustine School for the Hearing and Speech Impaired. In 1998, he relocated to Tennessee, living first in Loudon and later settling in Sweetwater in 2008. He remained under the devoted care of Maria Romero, his former sister-in-law, who faithfully stood by him and now lovingly carries his memory forward.

Jorge is also survived by his mother, Rosa Herrera Menendez, along with numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews in Florida who cherish his memory.

A true child of God, Jorge found joy in simple pleasures-reading, watching television, and especially spending time with his Bible. His unwavering faith was a guiding light throughout his life.

Heaven now rejoices in his homecoming.
