Jon Jeffrey Nichols

Jon Jeffrey Nichols, known to friends and family as Jeff, passed away on April 1, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on November 26, 1969, in Tennessee, Jeff lived most of his life in Charleston, TN, where he became a beloved figure in his community.

Jeff had an impressive career spanning over 25 years as a contractor before he found his true passion in high steel rigging. For more than 20 years, he thrived in the entertainment industry, where his skills and expertise helped bring countless concerts and events to life. His love for rigging was evident in every job he took on, and he formed strong bonds with his colleagues along the way.

He leaves behind his cherished wife, Linda Nichols, and their children: Taylor Nichols, Nadia Nichols, Chad Goodner, and Tanner Goodner. He was also a proud grandfather to Aden Gardner and Nora Gardner. Jeff is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Nichols; brother, Ray Nichols (Kathy), and his sister, Jennie Shu; nephew Derick Nichols.

In celebration of Jeff's life, a visitation will be held at Companion Funeral & Cremation Service in Cleveland on April 9, 2026, beginning at 6:00 PM. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the memories and stories shared by family and friends.
