Jean Crowe

Jonnie Jean Crowe, age 81, of Sweetwater, TN, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2025 at Johnson City Medical Center. Jean enjoyed genealogy and has been pretty successful at creating a massive family lineage tree. She enjoyed the most spending time with her family. They were very near and dear to her heart; Jean will be missed but most certainly cherished by all that knew her.

Jean is preceded in death by her soulmate and love of her life of 62 years, Lanny Houston Crowe, who passed away not long ago, in April; her parents, Gother Wayne Baity and Flonnie Clyde (Parrott) Baity; her 3 sisters, Betty, Carolyn, and Francis; and her son, Keith Crowe.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving children, Shannon Michelle Pittman (Doug) and Lanny Brian Crowe; her precious grandchildren, Jessie Crowe, Nikki Crowe, Lanny Dunagan, Zachary Dunfee, Teresa Smith, and Sierra Crowe; her sweet great-grandchildren, Oliver, Ayana, Aria, and Justin; her brother, Larry Baity; brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Vicki Crowe; her little best friend and companion, Beanz; and a host of several extended family members and friends.

Jean's heart broke when she lost the love of her life, Lanny, and we are certain that she was immediately reunited with him when we lost her here on Earth. We find peace in knowing that they are together once again.

The family will host a private family gathering at a later time and will announce to those they wish to invite at a later time.
