John Frank Parks

John was born on May 5, 1944, on Holly Hill Farm in McMinn County and lived most of his life in the Calhoun, TN area. He has now joined his parents, C. Willard and Allie Wilson Parks, and his sister, Margaret Ruth.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years, Faye Womac Parks; daughter Krystil Parks Belcher; grandson Panama and his wife Chelsea Belcher; great-grandchildren Riley Belcher, Haley Bean, and Addison Belcher; his cherished cat Meow Meow; sisters Mildred Rayburn, Jewel Stiles, Carolyn and her husband Randall Moore; brother James Parks; many nieces and nephews; and several special friends.

John was a proud member of Laborers Local 846 for 62 years, working for J.M. Foster Construction and Jake Marshall Construction at the Bowater plant for 40 years. His favorite pastimes included fishing, woodworking, and enjoying a cold beer with family and friends.

In accordance with John's wishes, there will be no viewing or funeral service held.
