John Lawrence Ledford, 73, of Soddy-Daisy, TN, passed away April 7, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born June 3, 1949. John literally loved life! Never a dull moment in his presence. He loved the outdoors, hunting, gardening, farming, and raising farm animals. John had a love for cooking and flea marketing. He loved Alabama Crimson Tide, but his biggest love was spending time with his family & friends. He loved watching his great-grandchildren play. John really formed a bond with his youngest great-grandson, Dawson McCrary, as he made many trips with us as we took john for his many doctor’s appointments.
He is preceded in death by his father, Cam Ledford, Sr.; mother, Pearle Ledford; very special daughter, Tiffany Norris; brothers, Baby Brother, Freeman Vernon (Cotton), William (Dub), and James (Jimmy) Ledford; sisters, Loretta Smith, Faye Ridge, June Gibson, and Joan (Butch) Grimes.
