John "Paul" Dodd, age 64, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2026.

Paul was born on February 13, 1962, to the late John Albert Dodd and Ruth Elise Taylor Dodd. He enjoyed fishing, singing, and playing the guitar. Music was a special part of Paul's life, and he will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for the many memories they shared with him.

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Myrtle Dodd and John David and Montie Taylor; his parents, John Albert Dodd and Ruth Elise Taylor Dodd; his sister, Helen Dodd; his brother, Bill Dodd and great niece Haley Howard.

Those left to cherish Paul's memory include his sons, Tanner Dodd and Tyler Dodd; granddaughter, Hallie Wampler of Colorado; great-granddaughters Lila and Azariah Dodd; sisters, Dorothy Hendricks, Pam Glover, and Rita Farris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Paul's family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026, in the Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral Home, located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jason Barnes officiating.

Paul will be laid to rest following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
