Corbin Croomes

John "Corbin" Croomes, 41, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, June 17, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born to John Croomes and Kimberly Williams Ammons on April 6, 1984 in Athens, Tennessee.

Corbin was an avid hunter, fisher, and sportsman. He enjoyed shooting guns, spending time with his family, watching his boys play sports, and his daughter dance and cheer. Corbin also loved Alabama football. In his free time, Corbin liked to ride 4-wheelers and Jeeps in the mountains. He was a Jack of all trades could fix/build/work on anything with his hands. Corbin was known to be able to out whit anyone in a room. Corbin was a devout Christian, and he, along with his family, were most recently attending Cleveland First Baptist Church.

Corbin is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty Jean Williams, and paternal grandparents, John and Mary Helen Croomes.

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Croomes, children, Brody, Bryor, and Brilee Croomes, parents, John (Erica) Croomes and Kimberly Williams (William) Ammons, sister, Jennifer (Brady) Croomes Richeson, nieces, Kayliejayd and Ellie Korbyn Richeson, nephew, Jace Michael Richeson, step-brothers, Braden, Ethan, and Callan Malone, maternal grandfather, Gilbert O. Williams, his in-laws, Archie and Fay McDaniel, and Marie (Daryan Sullivan) McDaniel, and special friends, Alvin Starnes and Judson Bates.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday, June 23, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary.

A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 1:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Chapel with Pastor Jeffrey Haney officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm prior to the service. A graveside service is to follow at Sullins Cemetery in Athens, Tennessee.
