John Arthur Steel

John Steel, 72, died suddenly at his residence on February 7, 2016. He was dedicated to his family. John was originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from the University of Florida with Bachelor’s Degree in Aeronautical Engineering. His life’s career was as a Computer Analyst for Georgia Teacher Retirement in Atlanta, GA. Upon retirement John and his wife Hazel relocated to Cleveland, TN.

John is survived by his wife, Hazel DeWeese Steel; two sons, Shawn A. Steel (Alyssa) and Brian C. Steel; one grandson, Hunter R. Steel; and one sister, Jane Mokren of Ohio.

A private family service will be held at First Lutheran Church of Cleveland at a later date.
