Joeann Dockins, age 85, born October 11, 1938, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Tennova Hospital with her family by her side. She passed away one day after her 43rd wedding anniversary.
She was preceded in death by her son Ricky Derry.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, C.A. Dockins; her three children, Gina Shoemaker (David), Thomas "Mickey" Derry (Diana), and Jim Derry (Joan); and numerous grandchildren.
Companion Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 from 3:30 - 5:30 with service to follow at 5:30 at the Westwood Baptist Church, Jim Caywood officiating.
