Joan Elizabeth Stafford True

Joan True, age 79 of Cleveland, departed this life on Tuesday morning, June 28, 2022 at her residence. Born on April 21, 1943, she was a native and lifelong resident of Bradley County and a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. She was retired from Shering-Plough and worked for several beauty shops in her younger years.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, David True; mother, Virginia Stevison; and father, Howard Stafford.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Teresa Smith(Justin Thomas) and Lisa Harris; step-children, Mark True, Carrie Hensley, Tina Prater, and Tim and Danny Mantooth; grandchildren, Alex, Byron, Sarah, Leila, and Elijah; great-grandchildren, Zayden, Rosalie, Nalha, Casson, and Colt; brothers, Dennis Stafford, Ricky Stevison , and Randy Stevison; as well as several extended family members and a host of friends.

A Memorial Gathering for Joan Elizabeth Stafford True will be held from 2PM until 4P.M. on Sunday, July 3, 2022 at the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home.
