Jimmy Lee Burgess

Jimmy Lee Burgess, age 50, of Cleveland departed this life on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at his residence. Born on May 2, 1970 in Tampa, Florida to the late J.C. and Reba Burgess, he had lived several years in Dalton, Georgia before moving to Bradley County 6 years ago. Jimmy loved wrestling and was a local wrestler named, “Jimmy Starr” and loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by his brother, J.Chris Burgess.
Left behind to cherish Jimmy’s memory are his sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Lewis Johnson; nieces and nephews, Jason Burgess, Jamie Burgess, Sierra Burgess, Bridgett Patterson, Carmen Patterson, Deanna Stinnett, and Ethan Patterson; childhood friend, Kevin Walker; and several extended family and a host of friends.
A Graveside service to celebrate the life of Jimmy Lee Burgess will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Lee Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
