Jimmie Lee Sneed

Jimmie Lee Sneed, 89, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, October 19, 2026. He was born on February 21, 1937, to the late Charlie and Mildred Sneed.

Jimmie was a gifted musician who had a lifelong love for playing the guitar. He enjoyed traveling, fishing, tinkering, and spending time with those he loved. Above all, Jimmie treasured his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him immense joy. He also had a heart for serving others and enjoyed participating in mission trips.

In addition to his parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sneed; stepson, James Cunningham; and brothers, Charles and Owen Sneed.

Jimmie leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Susan Sneed; son, Tim Sneed (Dottie); stepson, Aaron "Raymond" Brackin; sisters: Betty Hooper, Reba Webb, Barbara McCallum, Linda Gentry, and Shirley Gaylor; grandchildren, Leeann Parris, Emily Bell (Andy), and Rachel Kohn (David); and great-grandchildren, Kailee, Chase, Austin, Autumn, Catherine, Tyler, Parker, and Addison. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Jimmie's family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2026, in the Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A celebration of Jimmie's life will follow at 2:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest following the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Jeff Sneed,Danny Sneed, Tracy Sneed, Denny Webb, Mike Webb, and Nathan Sneed will serve as pallbearers.
