Jim Ensley

Jimmie "Jim" Ensley, 90, of Cohutta, GA passed away on June 6, 2025. He was born on May 31, 1935 to the late Will and Winnie Ownby. Jimmie was a dedicated farmer and he also enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Ensley and brothers: Leon Ensley, Gilbert Ensley, Bobby Ensley, and Glen Ensley.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children Denise Ensley and Brian Ensley (Rhonda); grandchildren: Megan Ensley and Jillian Ensley; siblings: Ralph Ensley, Wayne Ensley, Roy Enlsey, Ernest Ensley, Jerry Ensley, Albert Ensley, Wilma Graham, and Myrtle Park. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

A celebration of Jimmie's life will be held at 3pm on Tuesday June 10th at Concord Baptist Church on Hopewell Road in Cohutta, GA. His family will receive friends prior to the service from 1pm until 3pm. He will be laid to rest following the service in the church cemetery.
