Jim Hilton Glaze

James “Jim” Hilton Glaze, 76, of Ooltewah passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday, September 14, 2019. He was born in Bethany, MO and had been a resident of Ooltewah for the past 21 years coming from Powder Springs, GA. Jim loved his family and his pets and was a connoisseur of gadgets and computers.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Grace Glaze and a son, Jeremiah “Miah” Glaze.

Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Sherry Glaze; sons, Todd Justin Glaze (Anna Sue), Jim Michael Glaze (Lisa), Tedd Alan Glaze (Faith), Corey James Glaze (Jenni), Michael Billenciti, Ed Eberle (Mimi), Mark Thomas, and James Robert Glaze; a brother, Terry Glaze (Helen); 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 22, 2019 from 2pm to 4pm at Heritage Fellowship Church of God, 4635 S Lee Hwy, McDonald, TN. Funeral services will be at 4pm with Pastor Steve Gilbert and Kent Butterfield officiating. Burial will follow in Lee Cemetery.
