Jerry Lynn Wagner

Jerry Lynn Wagner, 72, passed away July 17, 2026. He was born August 14, 1953, and of the Christian faith. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved people, liked antiquing and helping others. Jerry, who proudly dedicated much of his life to the construction industry as a heavy equipment operator, found joy in operating bulldozers and working with machinery.

Jerry is preceded in death by his father, Vernon Wagner; mother, Mary Frances; sister, Valerie Wagner; grandson, Christian James Ward and Chase Marrs.

Survived by his loving wife, Trish Wagner; sons, Jeremy Wagner (Tina), Colby Wagner and Ryan Marrs (Lele); daughters, Toni Wagner, Angie Fike (Shawn) and Anita Ward; siblings, Cindy Achord (Dwayne), Vernon Wagner, Jr., (Terri), Toni Griffin (Frank), Sandra Schloemer, (Stan), Kevin Cullens, (Jim), Gerald Cullens, (Michelle), Yvonna White, (Tim); 20 grandchildren, 19, great-grandchildren. Jerry had a multitude of friends throughout his community and that Jerry 'never met a stranger. He was loved by many, beyond his family and he will be missed.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A Celebration of Life for Jerry on Friday, Aug 7th, 2026, at 7:00 pm at Abba's House, 5208 Hixson Pike (Building B), Hixson, TN 37343.
