Jerry Gray

Herman James “Jerry” Gray, 80 of Cleveland, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was a resident of Fort Payne, Alabama before coming to Cleveland in 2006. He was of the Church of God faith. He was a gifted musician and enjoyed playing guitar. He liked riding his motorcycle and camping. Jerry enjoyed trips to Dollywood and traveling. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman J and Elizabeth Gray; wife, Elaine Gray; and brother, Barry Gray.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children, David Gray, Karen Whitaker, Wendell Gray, Sheila Douglas, and Vicki Sandefer; sisters, June Colts and Becky Hall; 12 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family members.

The family will receive friends from 1:30PM until 3:00PM on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Westmore Church of God Student Center located at 2440 Legacy Parkway in Cleveland. A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 3:00PM. A graveside service will follow in Fort Hill Cemetery.
