Jerry Back

Jerry Leon Back, 79, of Cleveland, TN passed away on June 25, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1945 to the late Curtis and Bernice Jones.

Jerry loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing, spending time outside, and loved making everyone laugh. He had a great sense of humor. Jerry was also very active and spent a lot of his time playing tennis and walked up to 3 miles most days. Above all, he loved his family dearly.

In addition to his mother and father, he is preceded in death by his stepmother Kay Jones, and brother and sister Steve and Patricia.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Patsy Elizabeth Back; sister Lynn Rollins; children: Sandy Vallejos (Alex), Theresa Back Massengale, Jeff Back, and Larry Back; grandchildren: Zachary, Halye, Abby, and Kyler; great grandchildren: Kai, Aubrey, and Peyton. He also leaves behind a very special niece Sara and great-nephew K.J. and niece Morgwn Trolinger. In addition to these he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.

A celebration of Jerry's life is being planned for a later date.
