Jennie Bernette (Logan) Boehmer passed away at home in Cleveland, Tennessee on January 9, 2026, surrounded by family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jennie was born on November 11, 1929, to William "Bill" Logan and Clara (Fisher) Logan. After her mother's death when Jennie was ten, her father relocated to Cleveland, Tennessee, where she met and married her loving husband, Eldron Boehmer.
Jennie cherished her family, friends, and faith in her Lord. She collected and crafted dolls, baby clothes, teddy bears, and quilts, sharing her joy with others. She was a licensed hairdresser; she taught at the Bradley School of Beauty until retirement. Jennie belonged to the North Cleveland Church of God.
Jennie is survived by her loyal and dedicated husband of eighty-one years, EldronBoehmer ; her children Eldron Jr. Boehmer (Debbie), David Boehmer (Nancy), Sherry Ratcliff, and Rowanda Haney (Ken); her sister Judy Ruth; and eight grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, and twelve great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, J. T. Logan, Clifford Logan, Cecil Logan, Clara Lee Hill, Bill Logan, Margaret Brown, Marilyn Easley, and her son-in-law, Jerry Ratcliff. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons, Kerry Boehmer, Jason Boehmer, Ty Ratcliff, Toby Ratcliff, Tyler Ratcliff, and Luke Edwards.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, January 13, at North Cleveland Church of God, in the Dixon Chapel. Visitation will be from 11: 00 until 1:00, and the funeral service, directed by Cy Harris, will be at 1:00, followed by interment at Hillcrest Memorial Garden
