Jeffrey Wooden

Jeffrey Louis Wooden, age 63, passed away on January 10, 2026. He was born on September 23, 1962.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas J. Wooden and Myrtle B. Wooden, and Rathburn Miller and Opal K. Miller; his father, T.J. Wooden Jr.; and his mother, Jeanette Brown.

He is survived by his sons, Tanner Wooden Burger and Andrew Wooden; his sister, Sonya (Scott) Wooden Lynn; his stepmother, Wilma Wooden; and his grandsons, Kyren Wooden and Traycin Baldwin. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who will cherish his memory.

Jeffrey was an avid gun enthusiast and a devoted sports fan, proudly supporting the Atlanta Braves and the Tennessee Volunteers. He spent part of his career working for Southern Railway and had a lifelong love of trains, a passion that brought him great joy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland Chapel on January 23, 2026, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the service at 1:00 p.m.

Jeffrey will be remembered for his interests, his dedication to his family, and the memories he leaves with all who knew and loved him.
