Jeffrey Charles Sellins

Jeffrey Charles Sellins of Cleveland, TN, passed this life in his home on Friday, January 30, 2026.

Jeff was a proud alumnus of the University of Louisville, where he graduated in 1966 with a degree in Chemistry. A man of deep faith and service, he was a devoted member of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Cleveland. He was honored to serve a three-year term as the elected Junior Warden, acting as a primary steward of the church's historic property. His commitment to the parish was further reflected in his many years of leadership within the Adult Christian Education Program; Fr. Joel Huffstetler shared that Jeff's tenure as an adult Bible study leader has left a lasting impact on the parish community.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alexis Mashuta Sellins, and his parents Col. Charles William Sellins and Ellen Stoll Sellins. He is survived by his daughters Julia Sellins Ernspiker (husband Darrell) of Alpharetta, GA, and Erica Lee Sellins of Hampstead, NC.

Jeff was interred in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville, KY. A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Cleveland, TN, and will be planned for the spring.
