Jeffrey Lynn Carter

Mr. Jeffrey Lynn Carter, age 57, of Benton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at his home on June 14, 2026.

Jeffrey was born on March 6, 1969, in Copperhill, Tennessee, to Lowrey Carter and Carol Longwith (Goss). He spent much of his life in Southeast Tennessee and was known as a hardworking man who took pride in helping others. He worked in maintenance and handyman services, using his skills and willingness to lend a hand whenever needed. He was especially talented at engraving.

Jeffrey enjoyed the simple things in life and valued time spent with family and friends. He will be remembered for his quiet strength, caring nature, and the lasting impact he made on those who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will remain in the hearts of all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lowrey Carter; and his brother, Keith Carter.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Carol Longwith; his brother, Bill Carter; his daughters, Karrie Carter, Jamie Carter, and Cheyenne Carter; nephews, Damien Hardin, Preston Hardin, Michael Carter, Landon Hardin, and Luke Carter; and nieces, Ellie Carter and Jennifer Hardin. He is also survived by other extended family members and friends who will mourn his passing.
