JC Foxx

JC Foxx, 82, of Athens, TN went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2026.

JC had a deep love for the outdoors, especially bird hunting. He took great pride in his yard work and landscaping, with a special fondness for flowers. JC was a faithful member of Westview Baptist Church of Athens. Above all, he cherished his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Foxx; parents, JB and Sarah Foxx; children, Lisa Lyles and Eddie Fox; grandchildren, Thomas Wayne Queen and Scott "Mitchell" Fox; and sister, Glenda.

Survivors include his children, Johnnie (Susie) Queen and Scott (Sherry) Fox; grandchildren, Josh, Emily, Brittany, Ariel, Maranda, Elijah, Justina, Kendra, and John; several great grandchildren and many other loved family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Companion Funeral Home of Athens.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to either The Ronald McDonald House or St. Jude in JC's Memory.
